Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Environmental Services Team in the UK and Ireland. You will lead complex desk studies, interpretative reports, and analysis of geotechnical structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure programmes.

You will mentor graduates, embrace digital workflows, and help translate ground risk into design intelligence for clients across water, energy transition, and coastal resilience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related discipline.
Chartered member of ICE or the Geological Society, or in final stages of achieving chartered status.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports across various ground conditions.
Analyse sophisticated geotechnical structures and work with multidisciplinary teams to provide clear ground risk intelligence.
Mentor graduates and junior engineers and contribute to maintaining high technical standards.
Engage with digital innovation and develop data tools and workflows to improve geotechnical design processes.
