Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Environmental Services Team in the UK and Ireland. You will lead complex desk studies, interpret geotechnical reports and support ground risk-based design across major infrastructure programmes.

You will mentor graduate and junior engineers, champion digital workflows, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically excellent and sustainable ground solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related discipline.
• Chartered engineer status or nearing achievement with ICE or the Geological Society.
• Extensive experience in preparing complex desk studies, site inspections and interpreting geotechnical reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports across diverse ground conditions.
• Oversee analysis of sophisticated geotechnical structures and provide ground risk intelligence to clients and contractors.
• Develop graduate and junior engineers and promote digital workflows in ground investigation and design.
