Senior FP&A Analyst – UKI (12-Month FTC)

Up to £90,000 + benefits | Hybrid (3 days in London)

Leading Global Insurer

I'm supporting a leading global insurer with the hire of a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their UK & Ireland P&C Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a highly visible role supporting senior management across planning, forecasting, production tracking, and technical P&L analysis.

The role
  • Production tracking across new business & renewals using BI tools (Insight/Qlik/PowerBI)
  • Monthly production variance analysis across PRF caption & LoB
  • Management of production & commission accruals
  • Technical P&L variance analysis (NEP, commissions, underwriting performance)
  • Forecasting & planning – partnering with underwriters and leadership, completing TM1 adjustments
  • Preparing reporting packs (T&E, Submission/Quote/Bound stats)
  • Liaising with Operations, BI, and Finance to resolve booking issues
  • Leading process improvement and automation initiatives
What they’re looking for
  • Strong FP&A or analytical finance background
  • Confident analysing data, building reports and identifying drivers of performance
  • Comfortable working with BI tools (PowerBI, Qlik, PowerQuery, TM1 etc.)
  • Proactive, solutions-driven, and able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Insurance FP&A experience is helpful, but not essential
  • Someone who embraces change, challenges processes, and seeks continuous improvement
