demonstrable forestryexperience and relevant academic qualifications, we are seeking an experienced Senior Forest Manager / Forest Manager to join our team.The ability to undertake most aspects of the roles and responsibilities of a Forestry Works Manageris important for the Forest Manager/Senior Forest Manager role.
To be successful in this role you must be professional, self-motivated and be capable of working on your own and as part of a team.You will have proven operational experience in a similar role where you have been involved with woodland management and direct client communication. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills, be IT literate and have a sound knowledge of silviculture and Scotland’s Forestry Grant Scheme.Experience of working with contractors, project management and managinghealth & safety are all highly desirable.
Ideally, applicants should have relevant academic qualifications, though this isn’t considered essential, and hold a current full valid driving licence (essential for the role).Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or progressing towards attaining chartered status or another similar professional qualification is preferred.
