Overview

Senior Fire Safety Engineer – Manchester – £70,000 + Bonus. A leading fire safety design consultancy seeking a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to join their Manchester team.

What you will do
  • Leading projects and managing client relationships from initial concept through to completion
  • Collaborating with directors, clients, and design teams to deliver high-quality fire safety solutions
  • Applying fire safety principles and building regulations to ensure compliance with governing bodies’ codes
  • Preparing engineering reports, calculations, and detailed fire safety drawings
  • Managing project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers, providing guidance and development opportunities
What you will need
  • Previous experience in fire safety engineering, with significant exposure to managing projects
  • Proven ability to lead and manage fire safety projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to approach complex challenges with practical solutions
  • A solid understanding of fire safety regulations and the technical knowledge required for their application
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
  • A relevant university degree or equivalent qualification in fire safety engineering or a related field
