Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO – Tech
Job Description

About the Role

This is a senior, high-impact role supporting the CEO of a fast-growing, founder-led global technology company operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment. The CEO role is both highly strategic and deeply operational, and this position goes far beyond traditional administrative support.

This is a force-multiplier role for someone who thrives in high-velocity startup or scale-up environments, where priorities shift quickly, decisions move fast, and judgment matters more than process. The Senior Executive Assistant acts as a strategic and operational partner to the CEO, owning time, priorities, information flow, and executive-level coordination in an environment where speed and clarity are critical.

Operating as a trusted extension of the CEO, you will design and run the CEO’s operating rhythm, enable high-quality decision‑making under pressure, and ensure sustained focus on the highest‑value work as the business scales rapidly.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner strategically with the CEO to maximize impact in a high-speed, high-stakes environment, balancing short‑term execution with long‑term priorities
  • Own the CEO’s professional calendar end-to-end, continuously re‑prioritizing time to reflect shifting business needs, investors, and board cadence
  • Prepare and coordinate board materials, investor updates, and executive communications with pace, precision, and discretion
  • Provide proactive decision support by anticipating needs, surfacing risks early, and protecting time for deep, high-value work
  • Coordinate across the C‑suite and with key external stakeholders in a fast-moving, global context
  • Partner closely with the Personal Assistant to integrate personal commitments that impact the CEO’s professional rhythm
  • Run and evolve the Executive Office operating cadence, ensuring meetings, agendas, communications, and follow-ups keep pace with the company’s growth
  • Provide light personal support only when it directly impacts professional effectiveness (e.g. medical, wellness, or travel logistics), always in close alignment with the PA to maintain clear boundaries

Profile & Experience

  • Significant experience supporting a founder or CEO in a fast-growing tech company, startup, or scale-up
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing, and high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional judgment, prioritization skills, and business acumen
  • Proven ability to act as a thought partner, not just an executor
  • High levels of discretion, emotional intelligence, resilience, and executive presence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable moving at pace, making decisions with incomplete information, and adapting quickly as priorities shift

Ownership Boundary

This role owns the professional and strategic aspects of the CEO’s world. Personal commitments that intersect with work (e.g. travel, family events) are managed collaboratively with the Personal Assistant.

Why This Role Is Unique

  • Rare proximity to strategy and decision‑making at the highest level
  • Genuine autonomy and trust in a high-growth, fast-moving technology environment
  • Opportunity to help scale a founder and company during a critical growth phase
