Job Overview

Join a growing, design‑led contractor operating at the super‑prime end of London’s residential and heritage refurbishment market. They deliver one‑off, architect‑led homes – listed buildings, basements, structural reconfigurations, and full townhouse refurbishments – where detail, judgement and commercial instinct matter more than ticking boxes.

This is not volume housing and not process‑heavy Tier 1 estimating. It’s hands‑on, technically complex, bespoke work at the premium end of the market. They’re winning work consistently, tendering heavily and scaling the business – including a move into a new West London office.

The Role

As Senior Estimator, you’ll take ownership of pre‑construction pricing across super‑prime residential and heritage refurbishment projects.

• Preparing detailed cost plans and competitive tenders for bespoke refurb & basement projects
• Producing estimates using Excel (no specialist estimating software)
• Interpreting architectural & structural drawings on technically complex schemes
• Working closely with Directors, QSs, Consultants and Site Teams
• Supporting early‑stage cost advice and feasibility input
• Reviewing subcontractor quotes and value‑engineering where appropriate
• In a commercially influential role, not a back‑office number‑crunching position
