Senior Estimator - Water & Wastewater

Location: South East - Hybrid Working
Rate: £85K+ Package

About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation within the water sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high quality bids, ensuring robust pricing, risk management and strong commercial governance across water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert estimating support for bids and contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and commercial rigour.
• Advise the Senior Management Team on commercial risks and influences impacting tender submissions.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate timely cost data and estimates.
• Ensure supplier/subcontractor terms align with client requirements; assess impacts of any deviations.
• Prioritise workload effectively and support the estimating team to meet deadlines and business needs.
• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers and operational teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance performance.

Key Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Senior Estimator within the water and wastewater sector.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven experience working with water/wastewater pricing, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Desirable:

• Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
