A major technology firm in the UK seeks a Senior Software Engineer for hybrid working. Responsibilities include Agile software development, providing technical leadership, and participating in technical discussions. Essential skills include software development in Java, Python, C++, or Rust, with experience in agile methodologies and familiarity with virtualisation. Salary: Circa £60,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

The team develops innovative and technically complex applications that are demonstrated to customers through trials and experiments, to be considered for further development into future Combat System products.
