A leading consulting and engineering firm in Leicester is seeking a qualified individual to assist in designing and detailing drainage works for various infrastructure projects. The role demands strong technical skills including experience with Civil 3D and Micro-Drainage. Candidates should have relevant educational qualifications and experience in infrastructure projects, while also displaying excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor team members.

We require an experienced individual of high calibre to assist in the design and detailing of infrastructure/drainage works associated with a wide variety of major and challenging infrastructure projects for the private and public sector. Specifically, we are seeking to strengthen our delivery capacity and require an applicant experienced in the design of residential infrastructure projects (including SuDS) with essential experience in the use Civil 3d/Site 3d/PDS and Micro-Drainage.
You will contribute and take individual responsibility for a range of project types, manage them independently and be the client\'s main point of contact. You will design lead and manage the delivery of development related highway/drainage schemes (S278/S38/S104/S185), for private developers as well as infrastructure schemes for local/central government. Projects range in size from multi-million-pound highway schemes to small residential development schemes design. You will work independently and proactively on technical aspects including preparing designs, specifications, technical approval submissions, site supervision and will be fully conversant with DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, Building Regulations, local authorityand industry design standards. There will also be the opportunity to work collaboratively with senior management on larger projects including Quality Assurance and Project Management.
