Overview

Are you an Electronics Engineer who loves taking ideas from concept to cutting-edge solutions? This is your chance to join a dynamic design team, working on advanced defence technology that makes a real impact. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for designing digital & analogue circuits, PCBs, and systems, ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and delivery. You’ll play a key role in turning requirements into solutions – and solutions into systems trusted in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Designing digital & analogue circuits, PCBs, and systems
  • Taking projects from concept → design → manufacture → customer acceptance
  • Driving systems integration, including hands-on fault finding
  • Collaborating with internal teams & external stakeholders
  • Working with external test houses to ensure compliance (CE/UKCA, EMC, RoHS, Safety)
  • Preparing high-quality documentation (schematics, BoMs, change notes, etc.)
  • Presenting at design reviews and supporting technical discussions
Qualifications
  • Strong track record in electronics design & development (digital + analogue)
  • Experience with OrCAD or similar schematic tools
  • Knowledge of legislative compliance (UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, Safety)
  • Hands-on approach with excellent fault-finding & integration skills
  • Degree in Electronics/Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Current UK Security Clearance (SC/DV eligible)
  • Experience with MoD customers & defence equipment standards (Sonar experience = big plus!)
  • Strong collaboration & problem-solving skills
