Job summary

MMB Bentley, a leading UK water sector designer and contractor, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape electrical design from concept to commissioning on water treatment projects. You will contribute to environments that enhance community water services while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

You will work on MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, PLCs and SCADA, addressing both new technology and legacy installations, while mentoring graduates and engineers to grow

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Chartered or Incorporated with ICE/IMechE.
• Experience delivering high-quality outputs to design, quality and safety standards.
• Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs for water treatment equipment on client sites.
• Work with MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, networks, PLCs and SCADA.
• Handle both new technology and legacy installations.
• Produce and review specifications and procurement schedules; review bids.
• Supervise and mentor graduates and engineers.
• Apply design standards with Client and WIMES standards.
• Engage with clients; build relationships to achieve aims.
