Zusammenfassung

Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to shape electrical functions across projects in the UK water sector. You will cover concept design through commissioning, ensuring MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA are integrated to meet standards.

You will mentor graduates and engineers, collaborate with commercial, operations and construction teams, and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered or incorporated member of a professional institution (ICE/IMechE) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with water or wastewater projects desired.
• Proven ability to deliver high quality outputs to design, quality and safety standards.
• Proficient at delivering results under tight timeframes and managing priorities.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review designs for schemes; work with MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, networks, PLCs and SCADA.
• Produce and review technical specifications and procurement documents.
• Challenge client specifications and defend solutions to complex problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery with standard designs and digital tools.
• Act as technical checker on project documents and review across teams.
• Coordinate interfaces between design and other disciplines; produce documentation.
• Engage with clients and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Mentor graduates and engineers to develop knowledge and skills.
