Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape electrical functions across lifecycle from concept to commissioning on water projects in the UK. You will ensure electrical aspects are integrated with other disciplines and aligned with client standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, chartered status, and experience in water/wastewater projects. You will mentor graduates, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and travel to sites as needed.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered or incorporated member of a professional institution (ICE/IMeche/IMEchE) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with water or wastewater projects and delivering high-quality outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment.
• Work with Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, PLCs and SCADA.
• Produce and review specifications and procurement schedules; evaluate bids and submissions.
• Challenge client specifications and defend solutions to complex problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes with standard designs and digital tools.
• Act as technical checker on project documents and perform cross-disciplinary reviews.
• Coordinate interfaces between design and other disciplines and produce documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Mentor graduates and engineers to develop skills and knowledge.
