Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape electrical functions across life cycle projects in the UK water market. You will contribute from concept design through commissioning, ensuring electrical aspects are integrated and compliant.

You will collaborate with clients, review technical submissions, and mentor graduates and engineers while delivering safe, efficient water treatment solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered or incorporated member of a professional institution (e.g. ICE, IMechE).
• Experience delivering high quality outputs in line with design, quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on client sites.
• Working with Motor Control Centres, LV distribution, Cabling, Instrumentation, Industrial Networks, PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Producing and reviewing technical specifications and procurement documents; reviewing supplier bids.
• Supervising and mentoring Graduates and Engineers to develop knowledge and skills.
