AECOM is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution team in the UK. You will work across private, industrial, transmission/distribution and renewables projects, delivering practical electrical design solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include MV/LV design to DNO standards, substation layout, protection & control, electrical system studies and interface design for SCADA.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of British and DNO design standards.
• Proven track record as a Trainee/Assistant Electrical Engineer orGraduate Training in Energy/Power sector.

Responsabilités

• Carry out MV and LV design work to DNO standards.
• Provide Open/Closed Ring and Radial feeder solutions.
• Carry out substations layout and equipment design (MV/LV).
• Produce protection and control schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform cable sizing, routing, and termination drawings (MV/LV).
• Design earthing grids and perform touch/step/transfer calculations.
