A leading engineering company in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Digital Manufacturing Engineer to manage and maintain digital manufacturing systems. This full-time role includes leading digital integration across teams, optimizing digital workflows, and introducing industry 4.0 technologies. Candidates should have extensive knowledge in PLM, MES, and CAD/CAM systems. At Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join our recapitalisation team.
This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield. Our Recapitalisation Team deliver a programme of work specifically focused on substantial critical asset renewal, including but not limited to: A new Forge building with a new Forge press, offices & water pumping station; New Machine Shops; Investment in flood prevention measures and Facilities upgrades to improve the working environment for colleagues.
As a Senior Digital Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering, managing and maintaining Sheffield Forg găter’s core Digital Manufacturing systems, including PLM, CAD/CAM and MES. Additionally, supporting the integration and upkeep of auxiliary systems (tool management, simulation, 3D scanning, robotics) and acting as the primary OEM contact.

This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. We offer flexibility in our start and finish times between 06:15 - 09:30 and 14:30 – 18:00.
