A leading SaaS provider in the UK is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to improve infrastructure for its platform. You will lead advanced projects, manage the EKS/EC2 lifecycle, and ensure compliance with best practices while mentoring engineers. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in AWS and Kubernetes, with a strong background in Terraform and CI/CD methodologies. This position is fully remote, allowing work from Northern Ireland.

Our Platform Engineering Group is made up of senior and staff engineers, with teams specializing in Platform Infrastructure, DevOps, Software Infrastructure, Database Reliability, and Site Reliability. We own multi‑account governance, CI/CD and GitOps standards, the EKS/EC2 lifecycle, and platform‑wide shared tooling and data services. Our mandate is to drive consolidation, automation, compliance, and reliability at scale.
We’re an AWS‑based .NET organisation operating across 15+ AWS accounts, actively migrating from a sizable Windows & Linux/EC2 footprint (~1,000 instances) to Linux on EKS (15+ clusters, hundreds of nodes, thousands of pods). Infrastructure as code with Terraform & Crossplane, and Prometheus‑driven observability.
Reporting to the DevOps Engineering Manager, you will lead the design, implementation and support of advanced infrastructure for our rapidly growing platform.
This position is fully remote and allows you to work from anywhere within Northern Ireland.
We do not expect proficiency in every tool listed above. This is the stack we build on. Be strong in several and able to learn the rest quickly.
