BlupaceTech in the United Kingdom is seeking a Band 2 Desktop Support Engineer with 3+ years of experience for project work across multiple locations, primarily covering Belfast catchment.

The role involves on-site and remote support, fault diagnosis, and ticketing, with a 12-month rolling contract and no sponsorship. You will work across Belfast, Ballymena and Newry to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Relevant IT experience 3–5 years.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+ or MCP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10–11, AD, and Office 365.
• Understanding of networks including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• English speaking with familiarity of local language.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first/second level IT support and resolve issues.
• Engage vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolutions.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Office 365; Cisco Jabber and other authorized desktop apps.
• Support Mac OS to assist Apple users.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, printers.
• Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware/software issues.
• Broad IT experience with basic networking, servers, AV, devices and telecoms.
