MCS Group is partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to recruit a Senior IT Support Engineer in Belfast. You will provide advanced 2nd/3rd line support across Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and SCCM, supporting around 400 users in a busy Belfast office while collaborating with global infrastructure teams.

This permanent role focuses on hands-on engineering, incident resolution and continuous service improvements within a global technology function.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of IT Support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience with SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex incidents across hardware, software and connectivity.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Ethernet).
• Experience with IT infrastructure including servers and network devices.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving with ability to manage multiple issues.
• Proactive troubleshooting and collaborative mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality 2nd and 3rd line technical support across Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, AD and SCCM.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, application and connectivity issues.
• Take ownership of incidents from investigation to resolution, with escalation when needed.
• Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and meeting room tech.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues including network and servers.
• Collaborate with networking, server and infrastructure teams on complex problems.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow with clear documentation.
• Provide professional technical support to senior stakeholders during priority incidents.
• Support implementation of new technologies and infrastructure changes.
• Share knowledge with colleagues across international offices.
