Job summary

BlupaceTech, Plymouth-based, is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day local and remote support for hardware, software and applications. You’ll handle inbound calls, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions in the ticketing system, ensuring service levels across shifts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years IT experience, strong Windows and AD skills, and familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow. On-site role at 1 Charles Street, Plymouth, with occasional off-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• CompTIA A+ or MCP or better.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience with Windows 10–11, Active Directory, GPOs, MS Office 365, hardware installation and troubleshooting, thin clients, VDI/virtual client, Citrix client, antivirus solutions, and helpdesk ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide first/second level support for hardware, software and applications.
• Troubleshoot and document steps in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers to ensure SLA and operational consistency.
• Install, upgrade, and support Windows 10/11, Office 365, Cisco Jabber, and other desktop applications.
• Assist Apple users with Mac basics when needed.
• Maintain and repair desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Diagnose network and workstation issues using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with IT teams across shifts and locations.
