The Senior Designer is responsible for providing creative design, while maintaining brand standards for global product literature, tradeshow graphics and other marketing and sales collateral.
The selected candidate will manage the global printing process and ensure consistency and professionalism in printed materials.
What you’ll do at Elekta :
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design and layout of global marketing communications material within the corporate guidelines including: printed sales collateral (brochures, leaflets, case studies, inc.), tradeshow graphics, event graphics, etc.
- Design all corporate ad campaigns and logos, as needed.
- Provide photoshop imagery for above projects, including advanced clipping paths, facial retouching, applying screen shots to computer monitors, up‑resing photos for large format printing, etc.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on reproduction and printing processes and managing the entire print process from sending files to the printer through the fulfilment set up.
- Assist with design development for sales and corporate presentations (PPT and multimedia).
- Assist with Elekta's internal marketing website which includes uploading new collateral and maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Assist with OneDoc which includes uploading design files when a project is complete, as well as being a power user and providing second tier support to marketing users (first tier is Global Marketing Communications Manager).
- Support regional design requests as time permits.

- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanour in stressful situations.
- Must be able to travel if required (at least 15%).
What you bring :
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience required in creative design working on a Mac platform with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.
- Thorough knowledge of both offset and digital printing processes, including pre‑press, pricing and specialty techniques.
- Motion graphic skills with Adobe Creative software, such as Premiere, After Effects, and DVD compression knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
