Job summary

A long-standing family business is seeking a Senior Design Manager to oversee design projects in Bristol. This role involves managing multiple design processes, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions in the Cladding and Roofing sector. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of industry experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. The position comes with a competitive salary up to £75,000 per annum depending on experience, along with a fantastic benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design experience in the Cladding & Roofing industry.
• Experience in managing multiple design projects from conception to completion.
• Ability to mentor junior designers in creating innovative designs.

Responsibilities

• Manage design of multiple projects from conception through to completion.
• Mentor a team of junior designers.
• Participate in meetings with clients and contractors.
• Assist on high-value design projects.
• Report to the board and build supplier relationships.

Our client is a long-standing family business specializing within the Façade, Cladding & Roofing industry and have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Manager to join their team in the Bristol areap>

The salary is up to £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus a Fantastic Benefits Package.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Design.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the design of multiple projects at various stages from conception through to completion
• Mentoring a team of Junior Designers to draw, create and model innovative designs with clients
• Attending meetings with clients and contractors when necessary
• Assisting on the design of high-value projects
• Reporting to the board
• Building relationships with suppliers to maintain quality

Key Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years Design experience within the Cladding & Roofing industry
• Experience using AutoCAD & Revit
• Have knowledge of BIM360 and Monday.com
• Competent using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Programmes
• Full UK Driving License
• Right to work in the UK
