Structural Design Engineer Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently, raising queries and coordinating with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors
• Manage and work within design budgets
• Report directly to the Head of Design
• Attend project meetings and actively participate throughout the design process
• Adhere to company QA procedures
• Liaise with various departments to meet project demands
• Contribute to training and mentoring graduate design engineers
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients to secure positive feedback
• Participate in continuous business improvement, passing on core principles and goals to staff

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 10 years' experience in structural steelwork design, with knowledge of relevant codes and software
• Degree educated, ideally working towards Incorporated or Chartered status
• Expertise in structural steel member and connection design
• Proficiency in Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, and Masterseries software
