Job summary

A well-established engineering consultancy dealing with advanced defense solutions is seeking a Proposal Manager to create and manage proposals. This permanent role requires strong experience in formal tendering processes, excellent reporting abilities, and leadership skills for managing multidisciplinary teams. The position is hybrid, based in Cheltenham, and requires occasional travel. Candidates must be British Nationals and undergo security clearance vetting.

Qualifications

• Experience of operating within the constraints of formal tendering processes.
• Clear demonstrable experience in product, service, and complex bid documentation.
• Relevant experience in people management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Generate proposals and outline the proposal structure as required by the RFP.
• Monitor progress and content, providing status reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate collection of cost, scheduling, and performance elements.
• Develop and manage the internal stakeholder management process for submissions.
