Job summary

A technology services company is seeking an experienced DB2 Warehouse Administrator to support the migration and operations of the Data Warehouse in a cloud environment (AWS). The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with strong skills in DB2 administration, SQL optimization, and familiarity with ETL processes using IBM DataStage. This role involves overseeing database performance, security, and data migrations while working closely with internal teams to ensure data integrity. Operations experience in a public sector environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or 3+ years for DB2 Warehouse edition.
• Hands-on experience in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
• Experience in supporting enterprise data warehouse platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure IBM DB2 Warehouse in AWS.
• Monitor database health and performance.
• Manage database security and user access.
• Support data migration from legacy systems to AWS.
