Computer Vision Engineer

Kidlington, Oxfordshire | £60,000-£65,000 | 4 days a week in the office

Overview

I’ve recently partnered with a growing biotech business that has been operating for over five years and is looking to add a Computer Vision Engineer to their team in Kidlington. The company has developed industry‑leading products across the biotech space, massively impacting healthcare, advancing medicine, and driving research used globally by a wide range of diverse clients.

They are naturally looking to grow the team and enhance skill levels across areas such as automation, computer vision, and image processing. You will work with wider teams to integrate computer vision models into various applications used across the business.

Qualifications
  • Physics or Computer Vision background
  • Strong experience in computer vision with PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Extensive Python programming skills
  • Confident collaborating with R&D and biology teams
  • Ideally experienced with robotic programming
  • Familiarity with C# or C++ is a plus (not essential)
  • Happy mentoring junior developers where needed
  • Confident managing data and assessing performance metrics
  • Good communication skills
