Senior Customer Service Representative / Export Coordinator

Are you a detail‑oriented logistics professional with a passion for international trade and exceptional customer service? Join our team in Basingstoke, RG24, and play a vital role in coordinating the accurate and timely export of essential international customer orders!

The Opportunity
  • Role: Senior Customer Service Representative / Export Coordinator III
  • Pay: £15.38 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: Full‑Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Location: Basingstoke, RG24
Position Summary

As the Export Coordinator III, you will manage the end‑to‑end export process. This demanding role requires high attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. You will be the key point of contact for international customers, ensuring all shipments are compliant, documented correctly, and fulfilled promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Export Management: Process international customer orders and schedule agreements for timely and compliant export shipments.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to arrange transport, ensuring proper packaging, labelling, and temperature control (where required).
  • Documentation: Prepare accurate export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and all customs‑related paperwork.
  • Customer Communication: Proactively communicate with international customers regarding order status, delays, and resolve queries/complaints adhering to departmental procedures.
  • Compliance & Improvement: Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, monitor export performance metrics (like LOTIF), and support continuous process improvement (PPI initiatives).
  • Values: Act as a role model by demonstrating the company's 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement).
