Job summary
Cloudflare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding enterprise customers through pre-sales validation, onboarding, deployment, and lifecycle expansion.
As a quota-carrying technologist, you’ll partner with Account Executives to drive adoption, revenue growth, and architecture optimization. You will lead technical engagements, design solutions, and advise on AI-driven workflows, security postures, and deployment confidence,
Qualifications
- 8–12 years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering/Customer Engineering/Sales Engineering).
- Ability to white-board and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
- Excellent communication to translate technical concepts to business outcomes.
- Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical deep-dive discovery with Account Execs and map customer requirements to Cloudflare architectures.
- Design structured migration and onboarding blueprints for customers’ environments.
- Own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with Account Executives.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews translating platform capabilities to business ROI for executives.
- Leverage AI-driven workflows to automate routine CE tasks and free time for advisory work.
- Create technical resources and guides to enable customers and internal teams.
