Job summary
Cloudflare is seeking a Sr. Customer Engineer who acts as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, guiding enterprise clients from pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and lifecycle expansion.
You will own technical validation, design blueprints, and lead architects across DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, and network security, ensuring measurable business outcomes and value realization.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Architectural mindset for complex enterprise networks and security.
- Strong consultative/advisory skills translating tech to business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical deep-dive discovery with Account Executives and map requirements to Cloudflare architectures.
- Oversee onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy with customer engineering teams.
- Drive quarterly business reviews translating platform capabilities into ROI for execs.
- Act as trusted advisor through onboarding, renewal, and expansion lifecycle.
- Leverage AI workflows to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Create and govern technical resources with Enablement to raise technical baseline.
