Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Customer Engineer to drive the technical go-to-market strategy for enterprise customers in the UK. You will bridge technical strategy and business value, guiding customers from pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment, and lifecycle expansion.

You will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, focusing on architecture design, adoption, and measurable business outcomes across the customer journey with AI-augmented workflows to reduce admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Commercial mindset with SaaS metrics understanding and revenue-focused thinking.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go or similar for integrations.
• Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
• Familiarity with API-based developer tooling in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical deep-dive discovery and map customer infra to Cloudflare architectures.
• Own onboarding, technical validation plans, and PoCs with customers.
• Drive adoption, health monitoring, and expansion strategy with account teams.
• Act as trusted advisor on architecture, security posture, and deployment confidence.
