Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive our technical go-to-market. You will bridge technical strategy and business value, guiding enterprise clients from pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment, and full lifecycle expansion.

As a quota-bearing technologist, you will operate across discovery, demos, onboarding, health, and expansion with AEs, shaping architectures and delivery strategies for secure, high-performing internet applications.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles with SaaS platforms.
Strong architectural judgment for enterprise networks and security.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for executives.

Responsibilities

Lead technical deep-dive discovery and map customer infra to Cloudflare architectures.
Design onboarding blueprints and act as the primary engineering contact for customers.
Own discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk and expansion strategy with AEs.
Lead QBRs to translate platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
Provide trusted advisory on architecture, AI controls, security posture, and deployment confidence.
Leverage AI agents and LLMs to automate routine tasks and speed time-to-value.
Collaborate with Enablement to deliver SOPs, guides, and best-practice resources.
