About the role

As Senior Construction Underwriter, you’ll play a strategic role in expanding Zurich’s mid‑market retail portfolio. You’ll take the lead in identifying and securing new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise to underwrite complex construction risks and shape Zurich’s reputation as a market leader.

How you’ll make an impact

• Proactively seek out and win new business in the construction sector, helping Zurich grow its market share.
• Lead the underwriting of high‑value, complex construction risks across retail portfolios.
• Build and nurture relationships with brokers, clients, and partners to unlock new opportunities and deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory changes, using your insights to inform agile, forward‑thinking strategies.
• Play a key role in supporting the wider regional team by fostering growth through coaching and development, encouraging collaboration, and driving commercial success.
