Job description
Senior Communications Officer – Temporary

The Council believes that in order to meet the challenges of the future it will need to work even more closely with partners to develop and maintain a vibrant local economy, provide a sustainable business and cultural infrastructure, and to improve and protect the environment of Renfrewshire.

We want to improve opportunities for all those who live and work in the area and we need especially to support the vulnerable, ensuring equality and fairness for all. The Council will not deliver these outcomes on its own – but can if it works closely and effectively with the wider community.

Our communications agenda needs to support these aims. As a senior member of the Corporate Communications team, you will be working proactively with council services and community partners to develop innovative and exciting campaigns and initiatives that ensure Renfrewshire as a whole benefits from an excellent and joined‑up communications approach.
