A leading infrastructure contractor in the UK is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer / Lead Commissioning Engineer to oversee Start Up, Commissioning, and Pre-Operations activities. This role requires experience in technical supervision, project delivery, and the ability to travel extensively across various project sites. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and a proven track record in engineering leadership, ensuring safe and effective project delivery.

As a Lead Commissioning Engineer you will be aligned to the Start Up Commissioning and Pre‑Operations delivery team throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of Start Up, Commissioning and Pre‑Operations work scope for your assigned area throughout the lifecycle of the project. You will direct a team in the delivery of work and ensure activities are delivered in line with the established Start Up, Commissioning and Pre‑Operations processes.
You will collaborate with an internal multidisciplined project delivery team and interface with external stakeholders / vendors. You will lead the Commissioning Engineers through the project lifecycle to ensure safe and effective delivery of Start Up, Commissioning and Pre‑Operations work scope.
