Job description
Overview

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Senior Clinical Fellow within Trauma, Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery at Salford Royal Hospital.

This is a fixed term post which will provide an opportunity for the appointee to learn and develop a wide range of sub specialty skills in the management of Orthopaedics.

Responsibilities

The appointee will be expected to participate fully in the provision of Major Trauma Hospital services to the residents of Salford. It is proposed that the appointee will provide 10 PA's per week (9 PA's DCC and 1 SPA) which will include outpatient clinics, elective operating theatre lists, major trauma, administration and on call.

The successful candidate will be based at Salford Royal Hospital with elective lists predominantly at Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have full registration with the GMC and continue to hold a Licence to Practice.

Research

You will be given active support with basic science and clinical research / audit and will be expected to present and publish this work as appropriate.
