A large acute Trust in the UK is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon specialized in foot and ankle surgery for a 12-month fixed-term position. The role involves delivering patient care, supporting junior doctors, and participating in both outpatient and surgical settings. Candidates should possess the FRCS (Orth) exam, a minimum of 6 years at SPR level in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and full GMC registration. Duties will include delivering care for patients under the care of the Foot and Ankle Consultants and team, providing support to foundation and core training doctors, surgical scrub practitioner, allied F&A health professionals and receiving support and training from Consultant staff. This post is suitable for an individual who has passed the FRCS (Orth) exam, has at least 6 years experience at SPR level in Trauma and Orthopaedics including at least 12 months experience in the subspecialty of foot and ankle surgery. Candidates should be approaching or have recently achieved the CCT. Possession of full GMC registration is essential. The post will have a fixed-term tenure of 12 months.
