A leading healthcare institution in Coventry is seeking an Orthopaedic Specialist for a 6-month fellowship focusing on knee surgery. The role includes supervising clinics, participating in audits, and training Junior Medical Staff. Applicants should have specialist training equivalent to UK year 6 or higher and a keen interest in clinical research. Opportunities for further training with prominent consultants are also provided.

This is an Orthopaedic Specialist Training Program equivalent to UK year 6 trainee, or above. The principle clinical supervisors are Mr Peter Thompson and Prof Andrew Metcalfe, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, and further training opportunities with Mr Feisal Shah and Mr Nick Smith.
The fellowship is offered for 6 months and is based at University Hospital Coventry and Rugby St Cross Hospital. The post is intended for a surgeon who has a specialist interest in knee surgery and it will cover both elective and traumatic knee conditions. It is mainly a clinical-based fellowship, though there will be opportunities for research in conjunction with the Academic Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Warwick.
