Senior Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology – Barnet Hospital, London

Position: 6‑month fixed‑term Trust Doctor (IMT3+ equivalent) at Barnet Hospital, part of the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust.

Overview

We invite applications to join one of the most exciting and innovative NHS Foundation Trusts in England, offering teaching, training and management opportunities.

This post is designed to provide the experience and education necessary to allow doctors to progress in gastroenterology.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care for inpatients under gastroenterology.
  • Offer advice and support to other medical teams caring for patients with gastrointestinal conditions within the hospital.
  • Participate in endoscopy training and outpatient clinics.
  • Undertake educational, academic or quality improvement projects while in post.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Current trainee with IMT experience (equivalent to IMT3+).
  • Interest in gaining additional experience in gastroenterology.
Supervision & Development

The post holder will be supervised by the Gastroenterology clinical lead and will have access to similar educational opportunities as training registrars.
