A local council supporting children in Peacehaven seeks a dedicated Senior Care Officer to join their leadership team. The role focuses on providing high-quality care for children in their homes and involves supervising staff, supporting families, and ensuring effective care planning. Ideal candidates will have experience in child care with supervisory responsibilities and NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. The position offers additional weekend increments and varied shifts.

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, tenacious and dedicated Senior Care Officer to form part of the leadership team at Connect Family Support Team based within Elgar Hub. The purpose of the team, alongside providing high quality care for the children and young people within our care, is also to provide responsive support to families to help children stay safely at home wherever possible.
Two additional increments are payable for weekend working for permanent and fixed term staff.
Hours per week will vary, totalling 74 hours per month part time and will include long shifts and sleep-in shifts. Hours will exceed 20 hours per week at times due to the rota.
