Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement care that gives residents security, dignity and independence, know residents and their families, and lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care. You may support residents with activities of daily living, help with meals, and assist with end-of-life care, always approaching your role with compassion and respect. You will also be involved in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities and may administer medication. You will maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with your team. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and you will recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, participate in safeguarding training, and report concerns when needed.
