Overview

As a Senior Carer at HC One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Main duties of the job

As a Senior Carer, Kindness guides all interactions and care across our care homes. You will plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans. You may lead a team of Care Assistants and help maintain high standards of care, acting as a positive influence on the team. You may assist with activities, support feeding at end of life, and communicate with families as needed, always prioritising kindness. You will work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication as required. You will maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with your team. Ideally you will have a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with a background in person‑centred care planning and dementia care knowledge. You should bring positive energy, strong record-keeping, time management and a genuine, considerate approach with residents and colleagues. This is a full-time role of 33 or 44 hours per week.

Job description
