Senior Care Assistant – Location: Ladbroke Grove
Annual Salary: £28,963
Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and on-call duties)

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our Floating Support team. This role is vital in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults, helping them achieve personal goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct support to service users, including personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance, in line with individual care plans.
  • Coordinate with families, advocates, and health and social care professionals to implement and review person-centred support plans.
  • Lead and supervise a team of support staff, ensuring consistent delivery of compassionate and professional care.
  • Manage rotas, support hours, and staff activities using the Charitylog database.
  • Engage with community networks, professionals, volunteers, and families to enrich service users’ experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and the Care Act.
  • Provide 70% office-based care coordination and 30% field-based care delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role within health or social care, ideally supporting adults with varying needs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using care management systems such as Charitylog.
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care, including personal care responsibilities.
