Job Summary

This is a role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a large provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The focus will be on supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Main duties of the job include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations. You will also support residents with their medication requirements and undertake staff supervisions, supporting staff with their development where required. Additionally, you will act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.

About You
