Overview

Your role will include: Acting within the care team and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, to supervise, support and assist in the induction and training of the care staff. Acting as the senior person on duty in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy. Administering residents' medication in accordance with the Homes drug administration system and pharmaceutical guidelines. Assisting in maintaining a high standard of care and a homely environment for the residents.

Responsibilities
  • Act as senior person on duty in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy.
  • Assist in the regular review of risk assessments and care plans in accordance with legislation or where the needs of any resident alter.
  • Administer residents’ medication in accordance with the Homes drug administration system and pharmaceutical guidelines.
  • Contribute to maintaining a high standard of care and a homely environment for residents.
Candidate requirements
  • Previous experience of working in the health care sector is essential.
  • NVQ level 3 or 4 or equivalent.

Working hours & benefits
  • £500 starter bonus.
  • Full or part-time hours available; shifts are 6:45am - 2:15pm and/or 1:45pm - 9:15pm.
  • Successful candidate must be available to work alternate weekends and participate in an on-call rota.
  • Location: Oakwood Court, Haywards Heath.
