Job Description:

Senior Buyer, Food Manufacturing

Lincolnshire

Great opportunity to join a leading food manufacturer as a Senior Buyer looking after some key ingredient categories.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Buyer to take the next step up to a Senior Buyer within a leading food manufacturing business. Working as part of a large procurement team, you’ll be responsible for buying a variety of ingredients for the group.

As a Senior Buyer you will work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to understand the needs of the business’ customers, looking at areas of Continuous Improvement and play an integral part of the NPD process.

You will need to have previous buying experience gained within the food or FMCG sector and ideally be CIPS qualified or working towards it. Personality is key within the business and you will need to be self-motivated, be great at building long-term relationships, and be a real ambassador of procurement within the business.

My client are a leading multi-site business with a reputation for quality and innovation. They reward and look after employees well and offer outstanding long-term opportunities for progression.
