Senior Business Development Manager – Healthcare Catering – National (Midlands base ideally) - £75k + package

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across Patient and Retail Catering within the healthcare sector. This is a senior commercial role for a subject matter expert who thrives in bids, pricing, and solution design, and enjoys shaping compelling, compliant catering offers for healthcare clients.

The Role

You'll support divisional leadership to deliver organic growth, working closely with sales, operations, procurement, and culinary teams. Acting as the go-to expert during tenders and client engagements, you'll translate customer needs into innovative, commercially robust catering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead solutioning, pricing, and bid support for patient and retail catering opportunities
  • Drive growth through new business and expansion within existing healthcare accounts
  • Develop bespoke patient catering solutions incorporating nutrition, sustainability, and digital innovation
  • Own end-to-end sales processes for assigned opportunities
  • Ensure full compliance with NHS food standards, CQC requirements, and food safety regulations
