An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Wales Performance & Improvement Financial Planning & Delivery Directorate as a Senior Business Analyst. You will be joining an innovative and award-winning team that is passionate about delivering value within NHS Wales. The role offers the opportunity to engage with Health Boards and Trusts across NHS Wales, offering intelligence and insights by triangulating patient outcomes, financial data and healthcare activity, supporting financial sustainability and improvement across the system.

Your responsibilities will include playinga pivotal role in producing robust and effective financial analysis & intelligence in order to contribute to the Directorate's delivery objectives. You will be working as a partner with organisations across NHS Wales to support individual organisations to be in sustainable financial health whilst meeting future system challenges. The post holder will be a CCAB/CIMA qualified finance professional, supporting the Assistant Directors in the robust monitoring of in-year plans and key areas of delivery. This includes the development of monthly reports for organisations analysing financial trends and the application of analysis tools to scenario test and risk assess organisations' performance and forecasts.
