Senior Building Services Designer (Electrical) - London

My client is a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy delivering projects across the UK and Europe. With expertise spanning engineering, architecture, surveying, sustainability, and project management, they work on schemes from small works to £200m+ contracts across sectors including education, health, residential, infrastructure, and commercial.

This consultancy is now seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Building Services Designer to join their London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you\'ll not only deliver on high-profile projects across multiple sectors but also play a key part in the management and growth of an expanding electrical engineering design team.

The Role

You\'ll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and preparing designs across the full range of building services
  • Supervising installations on-site delivered by third parties
  • Contributing to health & safety planning and compliance
  • Delivering energy strategies and ensuring Part L compliance
  • Producing surveys, feasibility studies, and technical reports
  • Preparing maintenance strategies and managing contracts
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships, securing repeat business
  • Supporting fee proposals and assisting in negotiations with clients
  • Leading and developing team members, ensuring clear succession planning
