Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in AWS architecture and services, with hands-on experience in designing scalable cloud solutions.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation frameworks.
• Deep understanding of databases, storage systems, and data structures tailored for high-performance media workflows.
• Proven track record in metadata migration and schema design for large-scale broadcast or media systems.
• Solid knowledge of networking principles, including IP protocols, routing, and media transport standards.
• Extensive experience with Media Asset Management (MAM) and Production Asset Management (PAM) platforms.
• Familiarity with broadcast technology standards and workflows, ensuring compliance and interoperability.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence technology strategy and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps for broadcast systems, aligning with business objectives.
• Define costed technology strategies that balance innovation, performance, and budget constraints.
• Guide early-phase architecture and create high-level designs and Bills of Materials (BoM).
• Ensure seamless interoperability and metadata migration for MAM and PAM platforms.
• Design and implement cloud and infrastructure solutions leveraging AWS.
• Drive efficiency in broadcast applications through automation and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise cloud and on-prem environments.
